Forte Theatre Company Associate Artists

Forte Theatre Company Associate Artists are local actors, musicians, directors, choreographers and designers who exemplify a passion for the art of live theatre. Associate Artists are nominated and chosen by FTC leadership and must meet certain artistic standards and requirements. They are artists who have shown excellence and commitment to Forte. And they are professionals with whom we are committed to working with as our company continues to grow.

FTC Associate Artist Designation Standards & Requirements

(must meet at least 5 items from this list):

Artist must:

  • have appeared in, directed, or designed at least two FTC mainstage productions

  • have proven commitment to FTC onstage or off by delivering over and above expectations of directors and or creative team

  • be at least 18 years of age

  • have never missed a performance or scheduled tech rehearsal with FTC due to pre-existing conflicts (contagious illness or vocal distress does not apply)

  • be on time to all scheduled rehearsals and performance call times

  • demonstrate a positive attitude on and off stage

  • be a forthright and active supporter of FTC

  • be willing to accept ensemble, understudy, or swing roles when submitting for casting

  • be willing to volunteer to help raise funds for FTC (as schedule allows and within reason)

  • mentor younger actors and lead by example

  • be a resident of Wisconsin

  • have a signed Code of Conduct release form on file with FTC
